Galley Up or Down – Your Choice

galley_down_largeThe delivery of the True North 38 Titania marks a number of “firsts” for True North Yachts. It’s the first True North delivered to Bermuda and it’s the first True North built with the galley “down.” The owner requested that the on deck space be fully maximized for seating (see next “News” story), so the galley was moved below. It is situated on the port side in place of the hanging locker/bureau in the cabin. The owner has no plans for overnighting, so these won’t be missed! The newly designed day galley features a fridge, double sink, microwave, and storage drawers and cubbies. For ease of maintenance, the galley is primarily Corian and fiberglass construction.

True North power boats, Newport, RI.If you plan to use your True North for extended adventures, the original galley up configuration will keep the chef on deck and in the action. This galley features a cooktop, larger refrigerator, more counter space, a sink that can also be accessed from the cockpit, microwave, more storage, and a 360-degree view of your anchorage. Every part of your True North Yacht is built in our Rhode Island factory; the fit and finish of your galley, either up or down, will exceed your expectations. As you can see from the photos, we can build your True North’s interior with as much, or as little, wood detailing as you’d like.
