True North 34

There’s nothing better than a day on the water with friends and family. All True North owners agree that one of the most popular features of the boat’s “open concept” interior is the “galley-up” configuration. The large and well-equipped galley is where memorable meals are made and the host is always in the center of the action.

In the pilothouse, the helm, galley, and seven-and-a-half feet of convertible seating have unobstructed 360-degree visibility and direct, open access to the aft cockpit. Below is the privacy of the stateroom and enclosed head.

True North power boats, Newport, RI.

The True North 34 is a single-engine express with a skeg-protected propeller, the approach lobstermen have relied on for decades for efficiency and avoiding pot lines. An optional bow thruster provides additional maneuverability.

The readily accessible pilothouse roof is a convenient place for kayaks and paddleboards, and additional storage space runs beneath the pilothouse floor.

Visibility is superb from the helm, cockpit, and salon. Beautiful woodwork is used effectively and judiciously, so you enjoy its warming quality without the maintenance toll. And there are many options available, allowing you to create a boat tailored to your taste and requirements. We work closely with you in designing your very own True North 34.

Here’s a sample of its outstanding features:

  • The forward stateroom has an extra-large V-berth which, with filler, converts to an oversized double berth.
  • The enclosed head includes a sink, shower, marine toilet, vanity, and Corian counter top.
  • The Stidd helm seat is adjustable and its 360-degree view is virtually unobstructed; the companion seat is dual-function.
  • The galley, also with a fabulous view, is fitted with a stove, sink, pressure water, fridge, Corian countertop, ample lockers and stowage.
  • The self-draining cockpit offers a choice of stern openings: original reverse-transom doors, vertical/hinged doors or award-winning drop-down tailgate (the door drops down flush into the cockpit sole).
  • The engine access hatch has an electric lift.
  • The “base” boat is ready to cruise; the options simply add to the luxury and give you more ways to personalize your True North 34.
